The location is a typical Dutch farmland with rich nature, including meadow, forest, and ditches. The vacation rental is chosen to build at the intersection of three different types of landscapes, to maximize the experience of nature, while also providing specific requirments.

The three different landscapes are corresponding to the three main parts in the program of the house, which are extended with exterior spaces respectively. The private block situated at the less accessible side across the ditch, with a small garden surrounded by trees; the guest block lies on the meadow, with a broad view to the farmland, accompanied by camping site, sun bathing and playing ground; the communal block, linking the other blocks as a bridge across the ditch, has a terrace extending over the water.
