This digital album serves as a visual chronicle of my photographic journey. The concept emerged when I was trying to reflect on my photographs, realizing a shift in my interests and photographic approach as I matured.
This shift is most evident in the way I capture people. While individuals have consistently been an important subject matter in my photographs, their roles vary — from protagonists in portrait-style shots to a figure within the urban landscape, a part of relationships, or simply members of bustling crowds. Interestingly, this process of zooming out corresponds with my own aging, reflecting a changing perspective and attitude toward observing the world around me.
There are certainly other factors which are impactful as well - e.g. influences from my father at an early age, places I have been travel to, and the camera I have been using. After all, these are also the factors which have made me who I am today.
To make the development more apparent, the photos are organized chronogically and are divided into four chapters. Through the curation of this album, I aim to engage in a reflective exploration of what photography meant to me and how has it been shaping my identity.
